The LiveLikeJohnny Scholarship Program encourages a life of learning and personal growth. We invest in young people who desire to further their education after high school graduation and represents Johnny’s legacy. This scholarship aligns with our mission to support the engagement of at-risk, underserved, and often overlooked young people with the potential for personal and professional success. We also support students who have demonstrated a devotion to serving their community like Johnny did.

Essay tip: Be personal and bold—tell us how you LiveLikeJohnny and/or will strive to through your academic and professional career. We won’t get to know you any more than what your essay tells us, so don’t tell us what you think we want to hear, tell us what who you are and what you want us to know. Get to know Johnny and his story here, if you are seeking inspiration for your essay. Everyone has transcripts and activities, but only you have your story.
When you submit your application, be sure to include copies of your Resume, High School transcript, your EFC from your FAFSA, your essay and a letter of recommendation. Do not submit these documents separately.
